2. Get StartedNext you will need to tell us some basic details about yourself and what you are looking for. This will only take a couple of minutes.
3. Upload a photo. It's really important to add a photo, as profiles with photos get up to eleven times more contact. Photos also allow you to get matched with other members.

You can upload up to 10 photos to your RSVP profile.
File format must be jpg, gif, png or bmp. Once uploaded, you'll be prompted to crop and edit the image.
If you cannot upload your photo please send a jpeg (jpg) file to photo@rsvp.com.au and let us know whether it's a primary or gallery photo. We will do the rest for you.
Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for photos to be published on the site, as we manually check each shot uploaded to make sure it meets our guidelines.
Matches, Discover, Search and Favourites
How do Matches work?
The sophisticated RSVP matching algorithm works in the background to push members to you that fit your "looking for" criteria.
When you join RSVP, you will get 20 new matches we have discovered for you. Each day, you will receive 10 more matches. However, if you are a premium subscriber, you will receive 20 more matches per day. You can adjust your "Looking For" criteria in the "Edit Profile" section of the site.
What is Discover?
The RSVP Discovery Engine is continuously working in the background to help you discover other members who RSVP thinks you will like. This is based on who you have viewed & sent a wink to previously! So the more time you spend on site the better it will work for you. The members that RSVP discover for you will appear in your matches list and have a "Discover" badge on them.
How does Search work?
It's free to search for members on RSVP and there are a variety of different ways that you can find people.
You can choose criteria, like location, body type, photos and relationship status and so on for your search.
If your listed postcode isn't correct, the search results you receive will be outside your area. If you suspect this is happening to you, change your location on My Profile.
How do your "Looking For" preferences work?
By filling in your ‘Looking For’ preferences, you can define the type of person you will be matched with - These criteria range from age, gender, location, background and interests, to whether they Any preferences selected are automatically included in your ‘Looking for ‘criteria on your profile. Preferences are the starting point for our matching system, which finds potential matches for you.
How do Favourites work?
By adding members to your Favourites, you can quickly find them again in an easy-to-manage (and strictly confidential) list. So if someone catches your eye, hit the 'star icon' link on their profile page to include them in your Favourites list. To remove them from your Favourites list just click on the star again to unhighlight.
What is Tag Match?
Tag match allows you to see which other members, who fit most of your seeking criteria, have a common Interest Tag. You have the ability to select Tag Match on any of your current Interest Tags.
Winks and Contacting other members
What are Winks?
You can send a Wink to other members to show them that you are interested. They are FREE to send or to reply to. You can choose a message to go with your Wink that best indicates why you may be interested. They are a great way of breaking the ice.
If you receive a Wink from another member a counter will appear on your Winks tab.
It's good etiquette (and free) to respond to all Winks. Having a high reply rate improves your profile's position in search results.
If you receive or send a positive Wink Back then you know that both parties are interested so it’s time for one of you to start a conversation.
How do I start a conversation with another member?
To communicate directly with other members on RSVP you will need to use a stamp.
A stamp will allow you to communicate with another member for 30 days.
Click/Tap on the Contacts tab or icon to see what conversations you have open or recent messages you may have been sent.
It's free to reply to messages that another member has sent you. If someone has spent a Stamp to contact you, make sure you reply – It’s nice to be polite.
Stamps are available to purchase in packs of 1, 6, 12, 18 and 30, or are received weekly or monthly as part of a premium subscription.
Blocking and Reporting Members
Can I Block other members?
The blocked feature is a two-way blocking feature. When you block a member from being able to view your profile, you and the member you have blocked will no longer be able to view each other's profile, appear in searches or contact each other.
Your profiles will also be excluded from any Matches or Discover lists to this member.
To Block a member, go to their full profile page and select the 'three-dotted' icon, then 'Block Member.' Once you Block a member you will not be able to see them again on RSVP or Unblock them.
Why would I Report a member?
If you believe that a member is acting in a suspicious manner you should report them. You can choose from a list of reasons why you are reporting them by selecting "Report Member" from the 'three-dotted' icon on a member profile. This will come through to our Customer support team who will investigate this member. When you report a member you can choose whether you wish to block them at the same time.

STAY SMART ONLINEAt RSVP it is important to us that dating is a fun and safe experience for you. RSVP has worked closely with industry bodies including the ACCC, Stay Smart Online and the Federal and State police for over 17 years. We are committed to providing you with a secure environment to meet people and treat any suspicion of fraudulent behaviour very seriously. As well as continually monitoring the site for unusual behaviour, we manually check every photo on the site and use an array of technologies to detect unusual behaviour or false profiles. Unfortunately, no matter how vigilant we are there will always be a small number of instances where someone makes their way onto the site, even for a short time, with disingenuous intentions.
To help protect you from falling victim to fraudulent activity, we believe it is important that you know what to look for and what to do if you suspect you are dealing with a scammer.
The same rules must apply to meeting people online, as meeting people offline. Trust your instincts, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, and never get financially involved.
